This research introduces and evaluates an innovative integrated system based on biomass gasification, which achieves the simultaneous production of green hydrogen and desalinated water, alongside electrical power and heating, by leveraging optimal waste heat recovery. In this study, comprehensive energy, exergy, and environmental analyses have been conducted on the proposed configuration. The results indicate that this process achieves a thermal efficiency of 80% and an exergy efficiency of 42.55%. Based on the second-law analysis, the gasifier and gas turbine components were identified as the primary sources of exergy destruction, accounting for 48% and 34% of the total destruction, respectively. Parametric studies suggest that by optimizing operating pressure and combustion air temperature, the system’s exergy efficiency can be enhanced to 46%, and the carbon emission index can be reduced to an optimal value of 0.097 kg/kWh. The findings of this research demonstrate the high potential of integrated systems in improving efficiency indicators and provide a practical framework for the development of sustainable, multi-generation energy infrastructures.
