In recent years, the importance, applications, and development of stable isotopes in various scientific fields have been remarkably significant. A key challenge in stable isotope separation is achieving the maximum desired concentration of the target isotope of an element. To this end, determining the number of separation passes (i.e., the number of times the cascade is reused) and the corresponding cascade parameters for each pass is crucial for optimal separation. In this research, a computational code has been developed to determine the separation strategy of the target isotope in either the light or heavy stream of the cascade. The code performs the separation of the target isotope by adjusting the parameters of a square cascade and simulating it through consecutive passes. This paper addresses the separation of the first, second, and third isotopes of natural tungsten using a square cascade to enrichments exceeding 91%. Subsequently, the separation results for intermediate and end isotopes are compared. In this investigation, the concentrations of W-180, W-182, W-183, W-184, and W-186 were increased from their natural feed values of 0.0012, 0.2650, 0.1431, 0.3046, and 0.2843 to 0.9177, 0.9145, 0.9100, 0.9110, and 0.9139, respectively. Accordingly, the recovery factors for the target isotopes reached 98.5%, 92.5%, 58.6%, 89.7%, and 99.7%, respectively.
