The results of the burning speed test of the epoxy base powder indicated a decrease in the burning speed of the sample dried in the fluidized bed dryer (drying sample) compared to the sample dried in the oven (control sample). Based on experiments, the maximum degradation temperature of the test sample was higher than that of the control sample. Also, the starting degradation temperature of the test sample was higher than the control sample. The experimental data showed that the limited oxygen index in the sample of the dryer was higher than in the control sample. Therefore, the use of a fluidized bed dryer is preferred due to the creation of moisture-thermal properties and more suitable flammability of the powder compared to the control sample. In the fluidized bed dryer, by increasing the inlet air temperature, the drying rate of the test sample increased so that at 60 oC the content of the remaining solvent in the powder reached the desired value. In the temperature range of 55-60 oC, with increasing the inlet air temperature and volume flowrate, the drying rate of the fluidized bed dryer increased significantly, while the flammability of the sample decreased. Therefore, the temperature of 55 oC and the volumetric air flowrate of 0.16 m3/s was determined as the optimal drying values of the epoxy-based powder in the fluidized bed dryer. A reduction in the volume flowrate of air during the drying stages had a significant effect on achieving the maximum drying rate of the powder. The results showed that the secondary drying process of epoxy-based coating powder can be an effective method to achieve the minimum content of the remaining solvent and a high-quality powder with stable thermophysical properties. در این پژوهش، تأثیر دما و نرخ حجمی هوای ورودی بر نرخ خشک‌شدن، خواص ترموفیزیکی و اشتعال‌پذیری پودر پوششی پایه‌اپوکسی حاوی درصدهای پایین حلال در یک خشک کن بستر سیال و آون حرارتی، مقایسه‌شد. نتایج حاکی‌از کاهش سرعت سوزش نمونۀ خشک‌شده در خشک کن بستر سیال (نمونۀ آزمایش) درمقایسه‌با نمونۀ خشک‌شده در آون حرارتی (نمونۀ کنترل) بود. بیشینۀ دمای تخریب نمونۀ خشک‌شده در خشک کن بیشتر از نمونۀ کنترل بود. هم‌چنین، دمای شروع‌به‌تخریب نمونۀ خشک‌کن بیشتر از نمونۀ کنترل بود. آزمون تجربی نشان‌داد که شاخص حدی اکسیژن در نمونۀ آزمایش بالاتر از نمونۀ کنترل است. بنابراین، استفاده‌از خشک کن بستر سیال باتوجه‌به ایجاد خواص رطوبتی- گرمایی و اشتعال‌پذیری مناسبتر پودر نسبت‌به نمونۀ خروجی از آون حرارتی ترجیح‌داده‌می شود. در خشک کن بستر سیال، با افزایش دمای هوای ورودی به خشک کن بستر سیال، نرخ خشک‌شدن نمونه افزایش‌یافت، به‌طوری‌که در دمای oC60 محتوای حلال باقی‌مانده درون پودر به‌مقدار مطلوب رسید. در محدودۀ دمایی oC 60-55 با افزایش دما و نرخ حجمی هوای ورودی به خشک کن بستر سیال، نرخ خشک‌شدن نیز به‌طور چشم‌گیری افزایش‌یافت، اما میزان اشتعال‌پذیری نمونۀ آزمایش کاهش‌نشان‌داد. بنابراین، دمای oC 55 و نرخ حجمی هوای m3/s 0/16 به‌عنوان مقادیر بهینۀ خشک‌شدن پودر پایه‌اپوکسی در خشک کن بستر سیال تعیین‌شد. استفاده‌از روند کاهش نرخ حجمی جریان هوا درطی مراحل خشک‌شدن تأثیر به‌سزایی بر دستیابی‌به بیشینۀ نرخ خشک‌شدن ذرات داشت. نتایج نشان‌داد که فرایند خشک‌کردن ثانویۀ پودر پوششی پایه‌اپوکسی به‌وسیلۀ خشک کن بستر سیال، می تواند در بهبود کیفیت محصول پس‌از مرحلۀ اولیۀ پخت، به‌منظور دستیابی‌به کمینۀ محتوای حلال باقی‌مانده و رسیدن‌به پودر با خواص ترموفیزیکی ثابت، تأثیرگذار باشد.
