For this purpose, a digital image analysis technique was employed to study the bubble behavior. The experiments were carried out in a semi-cylindrical fluidized bed with a diameter of 14 cm at ambient pressure and temperature. The static bed height was 21 cm (L/D=1.5) in all cases and the superficial gas velocity was varied in the range of 0.2 to 0.8 m/s. All properties of bubbles were investigated by increasing the superficial gas velocity and against the height of the bed. The results showed that aspect ratio, size and rising velocity of bubbles increase with increasing the superficial gas velocity. The size and rising velocity of bubbles, which were obtained experimentally, were found to be in good agreement with the values calculated by existing correlations with relative errors of 3.5% and 7 %, respectively. Moreover, all above mentioned properties of bubbles increase by increasing the height of the bed. The advantage of a semi-cylindrical bed over a cylindrical one is that through its flat surface, the phenomena inside the bed can be observed by a non-intrusive method. The results of these experiments can help to understand the complicated hydrodynamic behavior of fluidized beds.}, keywords = {fluidized bed,Bubble,Half-cylindrical,Digital Image}, title_fa = {مطالعۀ تجربی رشد حباب در یک بستر سیال گاز- جامد نیم‌استوانه‌ای}, abstract_fa = {بسترهای سیال‌شده در فرایندهای مختلفی نظیر خشک‌کردن، مخلوط‌کردن، انجام واکنش‌های کاتالیستی و غیر کاتالیستی استفاده می‌شوند. در این مقاله، ویژگی‌های هیدرودینامیکی یک بستر سیال نیم‌استوانه‌ای گاز- جامد که متأثر از ویژگی‌های حباب شامل  اندازه، شکل و سرعت بالارفتن حباب است، به‌صورت تجربی در سرعت‌های ظاهری مختلف گاز برای ذرات 420 میکرومتر به‌وسیلۀ تصویربرداری دیجیتال مطالعه شده است. آزمایش‌ها در یک بستر سیال نیم‌استوانه‌ای به‌قطر 14 سانتی‌متر در فشار و دمای محیط انجام شدند. ارتفاع بستر پرشده در حالت ایستا 21 سانتی‌متر (5/1L/D=) و سرعت ظاهری گاز در محدودۀ 2/0 تا 8/0 متر بر ثانیه متغیر بود. نتایج آزمایش‌ها نشان داد که با افزایش سرعت ظاهری گاز و ارتفاع، متوسط اندازه و سرعت بالارفتن حباب‌ها در بستر افزایش می‌یابد. مقادیر به‌دست‌آمده به‌روش تجربی با مقادیر حساب‌شده از معادلات تجربی، انطباق قابل قبولی داشتند و میانگین درصد خطای حساب‌شدۀ اندازۀ حباب و سرعت بالارفتن آن به‌وسیلۀ آزمایش‌ها و روابط موجود به‌ترتیب برابر 5/3 و 7 درصد به دست آمد. برتری بستر نیم‌استوانه‌ای نسبت به استوانه‌ای این است که از راه وجه مسطح آن می‌توان به‌صورت غیرتداخلی، پدیده‌های درون بستر را مشاهده کرد. نتایج این آزمایش‌ها می‌تواند به درک رفتار پیچیدۀ هیدوردینامیکی بسترهای سیال کمک کند.}, keywords_fa = {بستر سیال,حباب,نیم‌استوانه‌ای,تصاویر دیجیتال}, url = {https://www.ijche.ir/article_147920.html}, eprint = {https://www.ijche.ir/article_147920_a48f1e56c182f1af3e99acd97baed3ae.pdf} }
